DiMatteo Clients Open House May 31, 2023
HTA enjoyed a beautiful evening with friends, family, and clients of the DiMatteo agency. The event provided everyone the chance to mingle and get to know one another as the HTA acquisition of the DiMatteo agency takes place. “We wanted to provide an event that allowed current DiMatteo clients to visit our office and meet our team face to face. Change is something that can be difficult for folks and we wanted clients to have the opportunity to get to know us on a first name basis. Our entire team is dedicated to making this transition as smooth and as comfortable as possible for all”, states HTA CEO, Tracy Keesey.
Retiring owners, Al and Rochelle DiMatteo, were celebrated by everyone. Both Al and Rochelle have dedicated over 30 years to the insurance industry. “Al and Rochelle have given so much to their clients and the community and we wanted to celebrate them and all of their efforts. Some clients have been with them from the start and this was the perfect opportunity for everyone to show their appreciation”, states Keesey.
The evening included light refreshments, music, and gorgeous weather!

The DiMatteo Agency, Inc.
HTA, owned and operated by Tracy Keesey, has been serving the Medicare industry for over 25 years and is now excited to expand its reach of services adding Property and Casualty to its offerings by acquiring the The DiMatteo Agency, Inc. The two companies have been instrumental in providing education and guidance to their clients when navigating the complex insurance industry from Medicare to Personal and Commercial products. Both companies share the same core values, putting the client’s wellbeing at the forefront. “It’s always been about the clients,” says Al DiMatteo who started the company in 1986 with his wife Rochelle who adds, “Our clients are not just our clients they are our family and our friends that we have known for years.” Making the decision to sell the agency to Tracy Keesey of HTA was not a difficult one for Al and Rochelle since they have worked with, and trusted Tracy and HTA for over 20 years.
HTA is excited to host an Open House for DiMatteo clients at HTA headquarters located in Exton, PA from 4 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. For those that are not able to attend in person, HTA is offering a virtual open house via ZOOM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4 PM to 6 PM. DiMatteo clients will have the opportunity to meet Tracy and her amazing team at HTA. Additionally, people will be able to visit with Al and Rochelle to wish them well into retirement while enjoying light refreshments.
HTA has been a pioneer in the Medicare industry, offering services that put education and guidance first over sales. Traditionally, Medicare companies “sell” their products to individuals, rather than assist in guiding people to the product that most appropriately addresses their individual needs. HTA’s clients consist of Individuals/Families, Employers, Wealth Managers and Group Health Brokers. HTA becomes a true partner for its clients by teaching and giving them the tools they need to make educated decisions about what product is best suited for them and their budget.
The acquisition of The DiMatteo agency will allow HTA to bring their unique business model of “partnering” with clients to include products like auto, homeowners, and business insurance. “Most Property and Casualty agencies do not offer Medicare, and we just needed somebody that could integrate all three together, so it was the perfect match,” states DiMatteo. He knew that Tracy has a tremendous talent for creating departments to seamlessly handle new product lines. This has been proved in the past by creating successful departments such as a Long Term Care Division in 2005 and the Medicare Retail Division in 2016. “Property & Casualty is the next exciting opportunity. With our strong commitment to education and guidance, I am confident that we can bring extreme value to our clients regardless of the product offering,” shares Keesey.
Tracy, Al, and Rochelle have worked hand in hand communicating with clients and reassuring them that this truly is the best fit moving forward. To guarantee a smooth transition, HTA started planning for this 2 years ago. “We have a talented team of Property & Casualty agents already on staff that have been working with the DiMatteos for several months to get to know all of their clients and their unique needs,” states Tracy.

Ritter and HTA Financial Services Merge Medicare Wholesale Businesses
HTA Financial Services’ (HTA) wholesale Medicare business has merged with Ritter Insurance Marketing. Ritter will assume management of HTA’s wholesale Medicare business.
Tracy Russo, CEO of HTA, was looking for a partner like Ritter, who could benefit her team of independent agents as she transitions to direct to consumer sales.
“We know that every one of our independent agents is in good hands with the vast resources and support that Ritter provides,” Russo said. “It’s a natural transition for these agents to continue receiving top-tier sales support and even broader contracting opportunities in the Medicare market.”

On the 10 year anniversary of Tracy Russo, CLTC, becoming an Equity Partner at HTA Financial Services, the company has announced the promotion of Tracy to President and Owner. Concurrently, the company announced the retirement of Harry & Debora Tashjian, the founding Partners of HTA over 35 years ago. The Tashjian’s are pleased to have Russo now leading the team. The staff at HTA wishes Harry and Debora well as they relax and enjoy their retirement. In addition, HTA has moved to a new, conveniently located office in Exton, PA and released their new Referral – Donation program.
Tracy Russo has been an asset of HTA since 1998 and is thrilled to step into her new role as President. “I am honored to be leading a company I have been very passionate about for the past 19 years. I want to continue to develop helpful and informative resources for Financial Advisors, Insurance Agents and Employers,” expresses the humbled new President. HTA’s Team Members are like walking encyclopedias regarding all of these senior care specialty issues. HTA also announced Nicole Kennedy (Marchand) and Kathleen Bretzel (Ferraro) have been promoted to key marketing roles within the corporation. Nicole Kennedy, Director of Relationship Management, has been a team member at HTA for 7 years and has been the Manager of Long Term Care Advisor Services Division for the past 2 years. Kathleen Bretzel, Director of Business Development, has been with HTA for 2 years and has proven to be instrumental in the growth of HTA’s Client Services Division.

New for 2017, HTA announced the Referral-Donation Program which utilizes the growing corporation to give back to the community. HTA now makes a donation for every Medicare Eligible Client Referral. HTA supports four causes: Brain Tumor, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and Breast Cancer Research. These causes are very personal to the new President, Tracy Russo, the former Partners, Harry and Debora Tashjian, as well as many clients and their families that have been afflicted by these illnesses. “Since everyone has a different passion, we let our Advisors, Employers and Clients choose which of these causes they want to support when they refer a new client,” says Russo.
