Independence Blue Cross:

- Keystone Basic – This plan has been discontinued. All current members of the Basic plan will be moved to the Select plan.
- Keystone 65 Focus – This is a new plan offered throughout the five counties. It is a very competitively priced plan with excellent benefits but has a defined network of doctors and hospitals, so make sure it works for your client. Keystone 65 Focus is available in Philadelphia and Bucks counties with drug coverage, and in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties with or without drug coverage.
- Keystone 65 Select – This plan is the flagship Independence product, a competitively priced plan with great benefits and a robust network. It’s available in all five counties with or without drug coverage.
- Keystone 65 Preferred – This plan is the high-end Independence HMO plan. It has a higher premium, but also features superior benefits and access to doctors and hospitals outside of all five counties. Keystone 65 Preferred is available in the five counties with or without drug coverage.
- Personal Choice 65 – This is a PPO plan offered by Independence that’s competitively priced with nice benefits. It includes a traveler benefit for access to doctors throughout the country at in-network prices. Personal Choice 64 is available in Philadelphia and Bucks counties with or without drug coverage, and in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties with drug coverage.

WellCare:

- PART 1 — WellCare Annual Certification Training: Live
- PART 2 — AHIP: Live
- Certification Part 1:
- The Mastery exam consists of 50 questions worth two points each and is open-book. Training content can be found in under the “Resource” tab within each module.
- Each agent is allowed up to three attempts on the exam and must achieve a score of 90% or better in order to pass and be certified. Leaving the exam page during the test will automatically void that attempt. After three failed attempts, you will not able to certify with WellCare for six months.
- Certification Part 2:
- Agents must complete the latest AHIP Medicare training, with a score of 90% or better, within three attempts.
- To access the training, use the AHIP website and log in. Agents who have certified with AHIP before should use the same username and password they used before. Agents new to the AHIP site will have to create an account. Ensure your WellCare ID is correct, update it, or insert it and proceed with the training.
- After the training has been completed, agents must submit their transcripts to WellCare through the AHIP website. Producers who successfully complete AHIP will be recognized by their National Producer Number (NPN). A “Completion Transmission” page will display to confirm completion of the course. Agents can click on “Confirm Automatic Submission” to submit their AHIP to WellCare University.
- Upon completion of all training is successful, your status will be sent to WellCare’s Producer Certifications team. Agents who successfully complete all WellCare’s requirements and pass their background and license check will receive an email from WellCare stating that they are certified to sell. This email will include the agent’s WellCare Producer ID.
